The team's first stop was Chengdu Panda Valley, where they observed the leisurely life of giant pandas – China’s national treasures – amid swaying bamboo shadows, feeling the healing power of nature. The journey then reached its climax with a visit to Jiuzhaigou, a world natural heritage site. Team members were amazed by its breathtaking scenery where "water flows between trees, and trees grow in water." The colorful Five-Color Pond, the magnificent Five-Flower Lake (resembling a peacock spreading its tail), and the Mirror Lake (where reflections surpass the real scenery) together form a flowing landscape painting. Meanwhile, Nuorilang Waterfall and Pearl Shoal Waterfall showcased the majesty and agility of water. This natural tour not only purified the mind but also made the team deeply aware of the importance of protecting the earth's precious resources, while gaining grand inspiration and a broader perspective.
Culinary Philosophy: Collaboration and Courage on the Tip of the Tongue
The team deeply experienced the unique charm of Sichuan cuisine. From the numbing-spicy aroma of Kung Pao Chicken and the spicy-fragrant flavor of Mapo Tofu, to the delicate seasoning of Husband and Wife Lung Slices and the rich tanginess of Sour Cabbage Fish, each dish revealed the rich flavor layers of Sichuan cuisine. The true highlight, however, was the experience of Sichuan’s social feast – hot pot. Gathered around the boiling nine-compartment hot pot, team members jointly deciphered the "spicy-numbing" soul of Sichuan flavor: the subtle "numbing" sensation from Sichuan peppercorns and the intense "spicy" heat from chili peppers, creating a complex sensory symphony in the mouth. This culinary feast was regarded as a vivid team-building activity: through sharing and collaborating to cook ingredients, everyone deepened their rapport and comprehended the collaborative wisdom of "harmony in diversity." On the historical axis: The team visited the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, appreciating its millennia-old engineering wisdom rooted in the concept of "working in harmony with nature"; explored Sanxingdui, whose mysterious bronze artifacts sparked the team's imagination about unknown civilizations; and wandered through Wuhou Shrine, feeling the loyalty and strategy of the Three Kingdoms culture amid green bamboos and red walls.
In the marketplace culture experience: The team visited Daqi Teahouse, renovated from an old lacquerware factory, where they felt the renewal of tradition through the collision of industrial heritage and intangible cultural heritage performances. They also strolled through Heming Teahouse in People's Park, savoring Chengdu's unique "slow life" philosophy amid the aroma of gaiwan tea (lid-covered bowl tea) and the singing of an elderly choir. Sichuan Opera Face-Changing, hailed as a "national treasure," stunned everyone with its incredible skill of rapid mask transformations, demonstrating the amazing creativity and vitality of traditional culture.
