Exploration Beyond Tourist Attractions
Our first stop was Chengdu Panda Valley. This is more than just a "place to see pandas"; it is an immersive experience into their tranquil kingdom. Watching these iconic "black-and-white bears" lazily munch on bamboo and comfortably doze off in trees, all of us were instantly soothed. It reminded us that the purest joys in life are often simple.
Next, we traveled to Dujiangyan, a humbling engineering marvel. Standing beside this over 2,000-year-old water conservancy system, we were deeply amazed by the wisdom of the ancient Chinese. To us, Dujiangyan is not just a historical relic; it is a masterclass in "sustainability." 2,250 years ago, ancient Chinese engineers chose not to fight against nature, but to guide it. This philosophy of "working with the flow" created a water project that still nourishes the Chengdu Plain today. It offers a profound insight into HOTEC's business philosophy: true success lies in finding a long-term way to coexist harmoniously with the market and the environment.
We then embarked on a journey through time to the mysterious Sanxingdui Museum. The bronze masks, sacred trees, and gold masks here feature surreal shapes and distinct styles, unlike any other Chinese cultural relics we have seen before. They seem to come from another world, sparking our boundless imagination about ancient civilizations, myths, and human creativity. Undoubtedly, this was the most thought-provoking stop on our journey. It tells us that Chinese civilization has never been monolithic, but rather diverse and inclusive. This inspires our team to embrace the diversity and infinite possibilities of the global market with a more open mindset.
Forging Team Spirit
However, the pinnacle of our scenic experience was Jiuzhaigou. Even its name cannot fully capture its beauty. It is a fairyland composed of crystal-clear colored lakes, rolling forests, and spectacular waterfalls. The lake water shimmers in hues of turquoise, teal, and sapphire blue—colors we had never seen before. Around every bend, the scenery becomes even more otherworldly. Here, there were no emails, no deadlines—only our team breathing in the fresh mountain air and immersing ourselves in some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth.
